A quick Tuesday Texture, linking up with Kim Klassen.
Lightroom Preset from Pretty Presets, Pretty Pastels, Ethereal B&W. (before texture)
Textured with kk_gift, Kim's latest at reduced opacity, Overlay blend mode for a subtle sepia textured flavor.
I'm taking the black and white version to our local Camera Club tonight for 'Show and Tell', (and judgement) More of these people like HDR and lots of color and landscapes. I image this will be low on the list. LOL! But I don't care. It's me, and I'll do my art.
Have a blessed week!
amazing... so beautiful....i just love the way the sunflowers are positioned.... and the texture is fab on this... LOVE.
ReplyDeleteThe black and white version looks like a pen and ink drawing. So lovely!
ReplyDeletevery nice picture, Roxi, I love it's sepia tone, your image is much more restful, quiet and smooth for the eyes than if you had left the sunflowers their natural bright colors... I can feel a "summer in the country" atmosphere when I look at your beautiful picture.
ReplyDeleteBeauty is in the eye of the beholder and if I were in your Camera Club your shot would be the top of my list :). As much as I like colors, creating a monochrome photo that really works is fine art. LG Su
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you have confidence in your work - it is beautiful! You might be surprised by the Camera Club folks...
ReplyDeletethere are a handful there that 'get' me. :)
DeleteI love it! I am definitely turning more to black and white as of late. Each artist is unique. If we all shot HDR what a boring place the world would be.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your art, Roxi! keep it up! :)
ReplyDeletelove that little old leaf on the table so much just the right touch to your awesome arrangement.
ReplyDeleteGlad you noticed, Barbara. I like to add a leaf, flower or petal at the base of arrangements. It seems to add something.
DeleteLove this!
ReplyDeleteI love both of your images here! Sure hope you are printing these as they are certainly worthy.
ReplyDeleteOh wow!! The second one is stunning in the sepia tones!! Definitely a wall print...oh I can see it now! Gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love both images - so much drama and texture in those beautiful sunflowers.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are gorgeous, Roxi, pretty sunflowers !
ReplyDeleteLove both versions !
Have a nice week,
Sylvia
