Texture Tuesday Sept 9

A quick Tuesday Texture, linking up with Kim Klassen.
Lightroom Preset from Pretty Presets, Pretty Pastels, Ethereal B&W. (before texture)

Textured with kk_gift, Kim's latest at reduced opacity, Overlay blend mode for a subtle sepia textured flavor.
I'm taking the black and white version to our local Camera Club tonight for 'Show and Tell', (and judgement) More of these people like HDR and lots of color and landscapes. I image this will be low on the list. LOL! But I don't care. It's me, and I'll do my art.
Have a blessed week!

  3. very nice picture, Roxi, I love it's sepia tone, your image is much more restful, quiet and smooth for the eyes than if you had left the sunflowers their natural bright colors... I can feel a "summer in the country" atmosphere when I look at your beautiful picture.

  4. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if I were in your Camera Club your shot would be the top of my list :). As much as I like colors, creating a monochrome photo that really works is fine art. LG Su

  6. I love it! I am definitely turning more to black and white as of late. Each artist is unique. If we all shot HDR what a boring place the world would be.

    1. Glad you noticed, Barbara. I like to add a leaf, flower or petal at the base of arrangements. It seems to add something.
