Lens Baby Magic

I've completed homework for the first week of Lensbaby Magic given at PPSOP by Kathleen Clemmons. Her stuff is sooooooo dreamy. Someday I'll be that good or at least I aspire to that. The first three I uploaded for critique. The rest are some I liked but knew were probably not as good. Perhaps you'll disagree. I'm always curious to know what every's opinion is.

Taking into consideration the fact that we could not crop our photos…. was the reason a few of these didn't make the cut.

  1. Those are beautiful, everyone of them - I'd had hard time choosing a favorite! Besides the first tree, I'm absolutely fond of the sunflower, and the tiny flower beneath it!

  3. So excited for you in taking this class, I really want to take it. I love all of them also. I love the first 3 so much and that leaf in conversion is awesome in my eyes. Good stuff Roxi.

  4. Lens Baby. That is the next purchase on my wish list. I so want to try it. I like the third picture from the top the best. The focus point seems so perfect and the blurred backdrop seems just perfect to me.

  7. My favorite is the girl with the flowers. I'd never heard of a lens baby until I took Kim's class. I'm going to have to check into it. Well done!

  8. I like the girl holding the heart, and I think she is perfect the way she is.

  9. I love your flowers and little figurines, but for some strange reason I am attracted to the salt shaker...the tack-sharp grains just sitting there, waiting to be whisked off. Very dramatic. If I weren't knee-deep in cold wax, faux encaustic, and mixed media I'd be taking this class. I did just send away for the Lensbaby Macro Converter so I can play up close with my other LB toys.

  10. Roxi your photos are incredible! Love the figurine ones. You're making me want to buy a new camera, take a month off of jewelry making, enroll in a photography class & have fun!!!!
