This is what I did with my little teal vase and sewing machine drawer. I'm sure his mom was thinking I was an idiot for paying $18 for that drawer, but I had to have it. There were 2 old bed springs, and I mean old, that had a price tag of $9. I couldn't remember how I had seen them used but I really wanted one. However, not enough to pay that much. I'm talking one individual spring here folks. I can always get it later, I'm sure. I had already spent enough at the first place we had gone.

Love the old drawer. I have one of those too! Great way to use it.
ReplyDeleteLove your drawer. I would be tempted but the price would probably hold me back. I shouldn't tell you this but I just bought 2 old rusted springs for $1.00. I was thrilled. The husband is used to my buying odd things but this one really made him shake his head in disbelief. I envisioned filling with some moss and a little plant - at least until I get another idea.
ReplyDeleteI love poking through shops like that. One never knows what treasures will be there just waiting to be brought home!
ReplyDeleteOh I would have grabbed the drawer as well !!! i'm off to an artisan market on Sunday wonder what I may find .....
ReplyDeleteVery nice, love the vase and your shots-9 dollars for a bed spring-yike. That is a very cool drawer..and does nicely in your photos.
ReplyDeleteDrawer-bonus! I get why it pulled you in...and I love what you did with it!
ReplyDeleteIlove the "loot" store.....let me get lost inside there. Love your drawer...I brought quite a few way back when they were not popular or expensive from EBay and Op shops.
