My purple tulips I planted last fall gave me far more than I could have asked for. By the end they had turned into peony wanna-bees.
So here is my flood of photos, from just two days of working them over. (I have still life photos that I'll share later.)
Even though they really are purple, I love these pink edits.
Holy cow Roxi, these are stunning! I remember when we were in Dallas and one year I did the whole refrigerate the bulb thing and planted angeliques and they were very similar in style to these and I even think I remember them smelling good?
I just returned from Portland OR where I went to the Tulip Festival and the double one were and always have been my favorites. I love the purples but your edit of the pink at the bottom are just gorgeous. I still have to edit all I took in Portland, I took so many images while there of them. Gosh I love this time of year especially when I can get out of the desert.

ReplyDeleteWow, these are truly spectacular. They do indeed have that peony look. Your layouts and the entire series are exquisite.
