Friday Finds Dec 5

It's Friday Finds…. again. Only 3 left before the year 2015. Just think in 10 years we'll be be saying 2525. (Yes, the song is now stuck in my head.)
This week I found…
1. Demolition is good for the soul. (Instagram)

2. A little wine makes every color look good. A lot makes it even look better. (Or can cause arguments. Instagram)
Only because the washer went out….. it's a new utility room. Yea!!!!!! And we're expect #2 grandchild any day. And it's Christmas. And work is busy……..

3. I have wonderful light on the island in the kitchen this time of year. Must figure out a way to put that to good use. (no edit, just raw light)

4. I found out how the Book module works in Lightroom and its limitations. It has so few templates that you can't alter and they can't even be flipped horizontally or rotated which would instantly make a ton more. (hmmmm I guess I could have rotated my photos…) One advantage is…… (if you are familiar with the Print module and making collages where you can't resize your photo with out going to the Develop Module and cropping it…..) The Book Module you can scale your photo. I'm hoping the next big update has some improvements there.
I've made Hallie a picture book of her adventures at Mia and Paw Paw's house. It's on its way right now from Shutterfly.

Linking up with Kim at her blog for Friday Finds.

  2. Looks like you've had a busy week. I haven't used the Book feature of LR yet. I am so far behind on processing my photos.

  5. You are a can-do kinda gal! Love that you can demolish and re-do your home AND master Lightroom and all it's capabilities. Beautiful pages of your family with your granddaughter - and congrats on the new baby soon to arrive. I'll pray for a safe delivery!
