Last week Day 8 was a tutorial on setting up a still life. And using a gradient map, however I didn't do the gradient on this one.

kk_softly, Overlay 71%
kk_revolution, Multiply 81%
curves adjustment to brighten
dodge and burn layer for selective darkening and lightening
Hue/Saturation Layer adjustment to decrease yellows and reds in selective areas.

    Very well done. That chair is great!

    I still need to get to mine . . . I'm hoping I can do that later this afternoon when the light is better. I'm not sure if I'll use the gradient either . . . I guess I'll try and see. I've never done anything with 'gradients' before . . . did not even know they were there!
