January 2016

As you may have noticed I haven’t posted to my blog since Dec.

1. I haven’t had the motivation for much picture taking.
2. I‘ve been working on a digital scrapbook project due the end of this month.
3. I painted some art journal type papers with acrylics to use in the scrapbook kit.
4. I got carried away and ended up making a bunch of digital brushes as a result.
5. I went to the quilt store with Kathy last week and ended up buying two top patterns and have nearly finished one.

As a result I have only posted 11 images to Instagram this month compared to my 25-35 average. Also very few posts to FB and haven’t kept up with my ‘groups’ at all.

Yes I’ve just proven to myself that you can break a habit easily in less than 30 days.
Now…. where will I go from here?

My word for this year is ‘intention’ I won’t elaborate.
I also reserve the right to change it at any time.

I am proud of myself for only signing up for two classes this year. One ends this week but has forever access, so I can get to it next week. I thought the other started this month too but I haven't seen a thing in my email about it so I had better check on it. It's hands-on with paint and I believe it lasts all year.

One of my intentions is to learn OnOne software. No reason to keep paying for updates if I'm not going to use it. Is that high on my list? not really. Perhaps I need to make a priority list. Before I know it, it will be summer.

This was edited totally on the iPad in iColorama and Procreate.

  1. Made me smile in your intention and the right to change your mind. Looks like you are plenty busy.

  2. We chose the same word this year. I am not signing up for any online classes this year. I'm going to concentrate solely on creating more work with the intent to display and hopefully sell! I hope your word works out for you too!

  3. Happy New Year Dear. Doing something different for a while could be good. You are a pretty focused woman. Where did you just go recently to find how to do brushes. I would like some of my own brushes for Project Life.
