It's Texture Tuesday at the Cafe with Kim Klassen.
Edith texture by Kim Klassen, Softlight 100%I've been working on a new 'space' for morning light shots, but this time of year the sun is still far to the south when it comes up. So one of my gerber daisies was dark. Usually I just 'fix' those things in Photoshop but what the heck, 'they' say get as much right 'in camera' as possible, and that's one of the things on my list to change this year.
So I grabbed a small white foam core board from my stack and reflected some light back into it's little face. Ah, perfect! (that's my blurry thumb and board in the right photo)
- White foam core boards.
- Not sure who invented these but they are probably rich by now.
- I've used them for photo backgrounds too.
- It's good to have several sizes around.

If you missed yesterday's post, I have a freebie for art journal papers.
