Time spent with the new grand-baby. In December we had seen her every other day it seems. Usually it would be once a week. Now that they've moved 7 hours away it will be several days in a row but maybe once every 4-6 weeks. Quality time may be improved. But it will take much longer for her to know and remember us and actually have a bonding relationship. It is sad. In fact hubby was depressed a bit this holiday. Can't say that I blame him. His only son moving that far away. It's made a tough start on the new year. Usually he is all pumped up about the possibilities of get a new year going. Frankly, I was looking forward to getting the last one over with and having a fresh start. He's kind of raining on my parade. Sounds like a few social activities are in order. Now where did I put THAT hat?
