My favorite tree I look forward to shooting every year. This year was hard on it. A late freeze cause all fruit and nuts to be nonexistent this year. Therefore it's spiny seed pods were not to be found. It is a sweet gum tree and the first year I photographed it... oh my, the glorious colors... from coral to purples. I'd never seen a tree with purple fall leaves before. I may need to visit the archives this week.
