Mostly it was a matter of taking lots and lots of photos and getting used to seeing myself in them. First I began to detach from the "selfness" of them and to be able to look at them as I would photos of anyone else. Then I decided I didn't look too bad for an "old lady," which was something I had begun feeling self-conscious about. With or without a class, I think self-portraits are a great avenue for self-exploration, and for self-acceptance, too. <br />I'll bet your presentation was wonderful, Roxi. I wish I could have been there! I'd love to see you do some posts on the subject.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5956567820039812823.post-46344968571063814832016-02-12T15:09:32.247-06:002016-02-12T15:09:32.247-06:00Well thanks for that compliment but she is my gran...Well thanks for that compliment but she is my grand daughter!Roxi Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00764714808872131907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5956567820039812823.post-27841246346549072132016-02-10T10:43:52.463-06:002016-02-10T10:43:52.463-06:00just checked out your video...so great!!!just checked out your video...so great!!!Peggyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16610347687911147219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5956567820039812823.post-51037613860504429142016-02-10T10:42:17.227-06:002016-02-10T10:42:17.227-06:00My favorite saying...I love computers...when they ...My favorite saying...I love computers...when they work! Putting a selfie out there for everyone to see takes courage. Courage to accept that you look like that. courage to not care. Through blogging I have learned to go ahead. It's all about self acceptance, I guess. Love that pic of you and your daughter.
