Romance Continued

I most certainly have to be in the mood for romantic, frilly, soft photos. Very few tiny spots in my house reflect this style. That was not so in the 80s. I had lots of 'cabbage rose' florals in my house and a gorgeous antique pink and beige wool oval rug along with antique furniture in my living/dining room. Oh, those were such simpler times. Back when I even quilted by hand. I did clean out my garage yesterday and came across something that has given me some ideas (shooting romance).

Ok… back to the present! One of the prompts in The Studio Online was 'stacked', so I had a play with my Grandmother's crochet and some old books.

Textured wit kk_0216 plus kk_0216magic plus something else that gave it the border.

Can you tell Gentle and Dreamlike are some of my favorite Lightroom presets?

I thought about photographing my 'stack' of magazines I need to go through but figured that might give some of you a guilt trip, so I'll spare you those horrible emotions and just live with them myself. (No, I really don't have much of an issue with guilt. Besides, how can one feel guilty if they've just cleaned out the garage?)

  12. These are lovely. That cup makes a wonderful photography subject, with the way the light and shadows play with its raised-dot design.
