Dreamy Flowers

Since I promised some before and afters yesterday, let's get to it.
It took me awhile to like the hazy look on my flower edits. But for some it's really quite nice. These flowers were edited with nothing but a Lightroom Preset I've put together. I've named it Dreamy Flowers for obvious reasons, but perhaps it should be Dreamy Vintage. You can download it here. Copy it to the folder where your other Lightroom Presets are. If you find it's making your photo to yellow, move your temperature slider to the left a bit.

A vignette was added on this.

  5. Excellent work! The seed heads are my favorite. The perfect processing on that one :) I like pretty, colorful flowers but I am just as drawn to the leftover parts at the end of their season.

  6. Wow, Roxi, these are so beautiful!! Your preset is perfect on each one of these. The sunflowers are especially lovely - I have a difficult time getting the right tones on mine...now I'm excited to try your preset on some last year sunflower photos. Thank you so much!

  8. These all really turned out nicely! I love the effect on color especially. My fave is the one with the blueberry-like 'pods.' Something strangely, uniquely beautiful about that one. Thank you for sharing your preset. I just might try it today.
