Beyond Beyond Day 9

Homework. Funny, now that I'm older I actually like homework. Especially if it has to do with photography. Class with Kim Klassen, Beyond Beyond Type Tricks.
The last couple days have been a bit rough, so when I saw this cup staring me in eyes from a TJ Max shelf, I knew it would come home with me. Fortunately I had just gotten the tulips yesterday.
Edited in Lightroom. Texture by Kim Klassen. Layers pallet below.

  1. Oh... what a gorgeous cup, too bad they don't sell this in the Netherlands. I love your collage and especially the Type!

I'm considering participating on Kim's Beyond Beyond class, but I 'm reluctant because I don't have much time to spend on homework. Do you know whether I can participate and do it on a self paced base or should I ask Kim?

  3. Stunning work. Love the cup and the editing is perfect for it. I have got to learn how to edit in GIMP or PhotoShop, and get out of Picmonkey.

  8. Beautiful! I ditto that about homework. I'm loving learning all kinds of things in my 'more mature years'. Too bad we can't be like that when we're younger and have the time and the brain cells to - so much easier :)

  11. This is so perfect, the green and the pink are the best matching hue...soft and powerful, just like all us amazing women!! (Coming from Texture Tuesday) such a beautiful mosaic, capturing the essence of the cup's message! (and of course, coffee is the icing on the cake!)

  18. I could frame your collage - just beside the spot in the kitchen where I keep my favourite morning tea blend ... a good message to remember from the early hours of the day! Love the text on the edge of the mug :)
